How long have you been working at Esteem?
After becoming a registered Nurse and Midwife I made the leap into the cosmetic world and have loved every minute of it. Esteem welcomed me with open arms 3.5 years ago.
What do you love most about the beauty industry?
Having the ability to help change the way someone feels when they look at themselves in the mirror.
How does it feel when you deliver results to your clients?
I love the look people have on their faces when I pass them the mirror after I have finished treatment. It is so satisfying for myself and my clients when they can see results that make them feel good and boost their confidence. No other feeling.
What do you consider to be your favourite skin treatment?
My favourite skin treatment would have to be the Cosmo peel forte. With clients coming in for injectables it is really important to look at the skin texture and quality as well. I have found that being quite an intense peel it gives results that people are looking for. This also requires prepping with products which gives a great product range for my clients that they can continue with post peel. This peel gives a great glow to the skin and refresh enhancing the results we can achieve with injectables.
What do you consider to be your favourite cosmetic injectable treatment?
My favourite injectable treatment is a combination of cheek filler and tear trough filler. Mid face filler is so important when it comes to reducing the signs of ageing. Unfortunately, as we age the mid face is the first place that we see it, causing hollowing under the eyes, cheeks and drooping down near the mouth. By adding filler to the cheek area first, we can achieve lift for the cheeks and jowls and support the tear trough. Then I like to assess the tear trough and if it is an appropriate candidate, I will do tear trough filler. Support, volume and lift… what more can you want!
Any advice for those thinking about cosmetic injectables?
